I think that with the advancement of many technological and scientific advancements, that we could see such a thing happen with human lifespans. I mean there are so many things being discovered and different things coming out these days. A new technology comes out and is soon forgotten because something new is always coming up. I think when people hear of such a thing as living very long compared to the way humans do now, they don't know how to fathom it. The earth is already polulated, indeed so I don't get why people keep seeing that as the main problem that we'd have along with longer lifespans. If that is a problem, then whos to say that humans could not solve it. If aging is cured, humans would still have accidents and die. We would just be cured of aging and the diseases that come with it completely. Death would still be an everyday thing but people would not be dying from old age in the large numbers that we see now. I think that is why so many people think there would be too many people around with very increased lifespans. They think that death will be completely illiminated.

Yep, that's a sign that it's an older egg. Always crack each egg in a different bowl than what it's going to be used in.....in case 1 is bad you don't ruin your whole recipe. Since it didn't smell it would probably be okay to use in baking.....but tossing it is always a better choice when there is a doubt!

Why is my relationship with my mom so aggressive?

Me and my mom argue all the time. I annoy her and she annoys me. The trouble is though she calls me a stupid cow or something along those lines for no reason. She says that it is because my behaviour is bad but I have difficulty in 'being normal'. She says I am not normal at all. I recently started drinking rice milk instead of cow milk, and I lost 10 pounds. I changed all the dairy products in my diet out with non-dairy ones. Is it okay to add formula to milk for a toddler?

Hi! My daughter is now two...around 18 months of age, she was taking horrendously long naps and was in a very low percentile for weight. She had always been an exceptional and gluttonous eater but suddenly got very picky around 14 months. She was switched to whole cow's milk at about a year so that wasn't an issue. Around 18 months, I started to add formula powder into her large straw cup of milk (without water) to give her more calories/protein/nutrition. Immediately, her naps shortened to a more normal time frame and her weight and height began to increase. She's doing great, according to her pediatrician, but it crossed my mind today that perhaps the formula/milk-sans-water combo might be too much on her kidneys? She doesn't eat a lot of protein ...it seems she's more apt to eat fruits, grains and veggies so I don't know if the milk/formula combo is ok or still too much. She gets her milk/formula with meals only and I give her water or watered down juice throughout the day. Anyone have any idea if there's a health risk with this?

Before I go on, these girls were NOT spacing out. They were looking at me from a distance, and when I got close they looked away. For breakfast I had about 200-350 calories ( this is a guess because I had a traditional meal and I am just guessing it is about this much, this includes my glass of orange juice) and then I had an apple for snack. For lunch I had a bowl of salad ( lettuce, tomatoes, a slice of cucumber, shredding of carrot, corn and the sauce was italian so there was no mayonaise) and a carton of apple juice (it said it was natural and it had no fizz). When I got home I had a whole grain croissant with different seeds and a very small portion of Ice tea. I then had a glass of orange juice, a vitamin c and zinc thing that you suck (i was scared of getting a cold) and a banana. Now for dinner I had about 200 calories (just guessing since it was traditional food). So I only recently started reducing my intake at lunch time so if I continue eating only a salad (sometimes only lettuce) or an apple for lunch will it help? Please don't suggest any sport for now because the school year just ended so I can't. (don't say do an outside school one) I will probably be doing something like football or track next year though. Why does 2% milk make me sick?

I've drank 2% as a kid with little sickness and now when I drink even a small 8oz glass of 2% I get sick to my stomach. My wife has drunken whole milk her whole life and when she got pregnant the Dr. told her to switch to 2% but that only made her nausea worse. Even now (our baby is 8 months) when she drinks 2% milk she will be in the bathroom sick all day. She switched us to organic whole milk and we were fine. Could we be lactose intolerant now? He has a prior charge and he served prison time when he was 18 and she(the accuser) was his girlfriend at that time(the DA didn't know that). His prior was him taking a rap in order to make his "homeboys" proud and they would all be there for him when he got out.A stupid choice when he was 18. The accuser knew this and still stayed with him during his 3 yrs he did. She used that knowledge to put him in prison for a crime that he didn't commit just because she was mad because he didn't want to be with her again. How in the world as an American Citizen can an innocent man be sent to prison for a crime that he didn't commit!!!! There was no evidence against him, including no physical evidence even after an examination was done on the child. There was no signs of anything and according to their story if it would have happened there would have been signs of something. but he was scared into taking a plea deal. They used his past against him and told him that if he went to trial and was found guilty for any reason it was an automatic life sentence. Or he could take the plead deal of 10 yrs probation up to 18yrs. He wasn't even given the chance to show what he has to prove that he is innocent. He was just forced to pick a gamble with life in prison or 10 yrs probation up to 18 yrs prison time. And it was a hard decision for him to make because he always said he would not take any plea deal because he is innocent, but he was almost guaranteed the probation even up to moments before he was sentenced to 18 yrs the lawyer was explaining what he was gonna have to do while on probation and now he is in prison serving 18 yrs :( PLEASE, PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP US. Border collies are amazing. Great herders and great for herding cows, horses, goats, and sheep. They will be your work partner and your very best friend. I'm not a big fan of rough collies. I know that persians are usually friendly but are extremely independent and aren't fond of being held. Abyssinians are great, as are American shorthairs. I know nothing about horses. Guinea pigs are cool. They're very social and usually love people, rather easy to care for. If you're going to get a guinea pig, you pretty much have to get two. Good choice on the rabbit. Lops are adorable and great rabbits. I personally have a Florida White and a broken Red Satin. Holland lops are great rabbits from the lop family and are a great choice for a first time rabbit...if this will be your first one. Having a farm takes a LOT of work and a lot of cleaning, tons of devotion, and tons of time. In the end, it's worth it.

Just got a filling instead of root canal...?

so not been dentist for a LONG time yep had the lecture today and feel adeqately scorned and stupid..... anyway a tooth chipped so i had a temp filling 4 weeks ago had no pain/infection etc just a cusp broke off my back lower molar. anyway today after my telling off my dentist cleaned my teeth for me :) and then removed my temp filling as well as the amalgam one that was in the same broken tooth and then said the decay was "quite deep" and may need a root canal but once she got in there she said i could chance a filling or go for the root canal being agorophobic as well as not to fond of the dentist i obviously opted for the filling she said it had a 50/50 chance shes put what i think is a clove oil cotton wool ball in there as that is all i can taste! and then put a white temp filling on top and sent me on my merry way she says if i have no pain in the next two weeks when i go back on the 16th june she will put a permanent filling and that will be that. what im now wondering tho is should i have just had the root canal done are these type of fillings successful? i havent had any pain so far..... she said there was no infection just that the decay was close to the nerve..... am scared im going to get pain and knowing my luck it will be a friday night or saturday morning when my dentist isnt open until monday..... would love some advice from a dentist or anyone else thats had this done and it worked or unfortunately didnt work... thanks in advance

Why have I always been picked on my entire life?

I have this gut instinct that people always prejudge and scrutinize the very essence of my being without giving me a chance. My cat only likes toys that move?

I have a year to decide but at my middle school there are two high schools that people go to after this middle school--let's call them Cow High School and Fairy High School. I've read that depending on household income if I decide to move away I should get a living grant of around 1 thousand a year. My parents joint income is around 35k so Im not sure if Im just out of that bracket. Why is my relationship with my mom so aggressive?

Me and my mom argue all the time. I annoy her and she annoys me. The trouble is though she calls me a stupid cow or something along those lines for no reason. Animation Show Toy from 2002-2005?

I remember this old TV cartoon animation from either Carton Network or Nickelodeon when I was little. I also remember having toys created from this animation. The show and toys were based around these small robots held in your hand that were about 3-4 inches big that were slid horizontally and shot small balls across this strip to the enemy's robot that would be shooting at you at the same. The small balls that were shot out of the robots stayed in the playing area and the person playing would pick them up and reload them into their robot. Just because the dogs have so much land to explore doesn't mean that's enough to make them all happy. A yard, no matter what the size, simply becomes a giant kennel after a while....so it's normal for some dogs to become extremely bored and find other ways to entertain themselves.

I'm trying to find a movie that I saw when I was little. All I can remember is in one scene - I think it was at the beginning - there is a man driving a pick up truck in the middle of the night. He comes across a glowing brick wall in the middle of a field or something. Then I remember that same man in some kind of enclosure, naked and screaming and surrounded by something that looks like spotted cow utters. I am losing who I am?

For the past ten years my life has steadily been going down hill at the moment I am very much alone, my family and I are not close and we fight the whole time. I feel my loneliness is steadily killing me. Some people for som reason become obsessed (mildly) with celebritys. Why?, I have no idea. I have asked a lady I worked with why she subscribes to people and entertainment and all that sort of thing, and she said to me,"their lives seem so exciting." I had to ask why their lives seem exciting and she said "they can have anything they want." I let it go at that because I didn't want to start an argument over something so silly. How do you stop being someone's friend without them noticing it?

I want to stop being this guy's friend whom I was once romantically involved with without him knowing it. I want to gradually make it so we have no contact whatsoever. First of all I doubt he is my friend and I feel like he is hiding the friendship when he is around others. The only person who knows we are still friends is his two close best friends. Everyone else doesn't know and he is hiding me as a friend. He contacts me and talks to me less and less. I see him once or twice for a few hours every other week. When I decided it is best to cutoff the frienship he finds himself trying to be around me all the time. My dad is so disrespectful to my mom, I can't take it?

Everyday for my whole existence (17 years) my father has verbally abused my mother. Where to begin........My mother is honest to god the sweetest person I've ever had in my life. Everything she does it's for her kids and never for herself. She cooks, cleans, does everything and doesn't expect a thank you. My father is an alcoholic but in denial, he has gotten drunk every night for the past 17+ years. He yells at my mom all the time, calls her stupid, dumb, even calls her a cow....Which is so freaking disrespectful to say to the mother of your 3 kids. The woman who does your laundry, cooks your food, cleans your house, does everything while you sit your butt down and watch tv. I have an anger problem because I can't deal with him saying that to my mom, I feel the need to defend her because I can't see this happening but no matter how much I scream, curse, or whatever, the process repeats day after day with no change. I obviously can't sit down and have a conversation with him because he won't change his ways, he is how he is and that's how he's staying. I just can't imagine the impact he's leaving on my mom that's why I try to be as nice to her as I can and tell her not to listen to my dad. She's NEVER done anything bad to him and while me and my brothers were litte kids he would leave my mom worried sick at home while he was out partying very late at night.
