I have just made deviled eggs and would like to know if the eggs I used are good yet.?

i have made some deviled eggs and the carton for the eggs says that they expire a month ago. Two of my eggs floated to the top, but I'm pretty sure that's because of the size of the pot. They look and smell just fine, but I would like to be sure.
