I wouldn't have called you a moron, but your method is incorrect. Your puppy didn't learn anything from having her nosed shoved in pee. It was because you started being more consistent about taking her outside that she learned not to go in the house. Punishment is a very ineffective way to train a dog, which is probalby the issue this person had with your answer.
