Will egg cartons help with recording and how do i get them on my wall?

I'm a rapper and i am currently recording in a corner in my room, i have a bunch of egg cartons but i dont know how to get them up on my wall without stapling or something that will wreck my wall and will it make a difference in my recordings if i put them up?
