Those who are popular vs average people?

Some people for som reason become obsessed (mildly) with celebritys. Why?, I have no idea. I have asked a lady I worked with why she subscribes to people and entertainment and all that sort of thing, and she said to me,"their lives seem so exciting." I had to ask why their lives seem exciting and she said "they can have anything they want." I let it go at that because I didn't want to start an argument over something so silly. I couldn't help thinking how much their lives must suck. They never find love, almost all of them have drug problems, they are hounded by poperazzi, (people I like very little) their kids hate them, and the have the worst job to do please people. No I do not envy them, emulate them, find them attractive,or any of that. Sure they might have millions but I don't need all of that. I live a humble life and I am happy with it because I have peace.
