I have seen polls conducted about who is looked up too most in families and I dont see any dads?

Are little boy's doomed to be men? I was with mom trying to apply for welfare and I heard this woman being scorned because she was trying to collect welfare but she was married and didnt qualify....then I heard women say dump him because your better off being state fed, meaning that the govt will take care of you better than a man? She is more likely to receive more help than without her having to struggle with the husband? What makes being with a woman so special now a days?
