Why do people on here think that Carton tanked to get high draft pics?

It never ceases to amaze me how often people just dont understand or distort fact with fiction. Your explanation here of the facts are as it occurred. In 2003 Brendan Goddard was Carlton bound as No1 draft pick,after the Blues had finished last in 2002,before being stripped of their picks for "breaching salary cap rules". Goddard's mother at the time, a staunch Carlton fan, was horrified! The Saints were handed Carlton's No 1 pick, and to this day, they still can't contain their delight,at gaining a player of Goddard's abillity,who the Blues lost through their own administrative bungling and mistakes.
