Can a take a carton of cigarettes in my hand luggage into Britain?

Im going to move back to England after living in Spain, my fortuna fresh fags are 3'40 at the moment, so Iv been starting a collection to keep me going. Will I be able to take them into England in my hand luggage? Don't wanna be lectured on smoking please. But some information would be appreciated
